The crossbow prod end protectors or crossbow nock ends are designed to sit on each end of a 150lb /180lb recurve crossbows prod to help protect the crossbow string.
Without the crossbow ends the crossbow string would fray and break. We also sell these crossbow nock ends for 50lb / 80lb pistol crossbows.
