Based on the HW100, which is Weihrauch's first pre-charged pneumatic gun, the HW100S is an example of a world-class rifle. True to the heritage of all Weihrauch guns, this rifle will reliably and repeatedly deliver power and accuracy. The HW100S has a walnut Monte Carlo sporter stock with a raised cheekpiece. The checkered pistol grip and forearm provide additional control. The gun cocks with a sidelever, which swings out and back (toward the rear of the rifle) which really works - quick, smooth and dare we say efficient. The manometer (air pressure gauge) is embedded in the front of the air reservoir, which hangs free from the barrel (free-floated barrels tend to be more accurate). Manufacturer specs state that the ideal fill pressure is 200 bar (approx. 2900 psi). You'll get a little over 120 shots from one tank fill. The uncomplicated design of the 14-shot magazine is easy to fill and load. A feature we really like is the fact that you cannot double-load the gun, because if you have already cocked the rifle and cycled a pellet into the breach, a repeat action of the cocking lever does not index the magazine again. The shorter cylinder makes it lighter and easier to handle and incorporates a new quick fill adapter for the front of the cylinder. This eliminates the need to unscrew the cylinder to refill! A fill to 200bar should equip you for 125 shots.
