FAQ

What's the age limit ?

Anybody under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult 21 or over.

We recommend that 12 years old is the minimum age, this is due to the physical size and strength of the child and their ability to hold a gun. This is only a recommendation and children of a younger age are welcome to try.

What does it cost ?

If you bring your own gun and ammo it will cost £10 per hour. This includes unlimited card targets and PCP refills. If you’d like to share a lane with a friend it will cost £16 (£8 each).

If you’d like to hire a gun prices start at £24 per person per hour, this will include your gun & lane hire, tuition (if required), unlimited ammo, targets and PCP refills.

If you’d like to share a rifle or pistol and lane with a friend it will cost £29 (£14.50 each) this will include a gun & lane hire, tuition (if required), unlimited ammo, targets and PCP refills/Co² capsules.

If you’d like to book our pistol dueling package with a friend it will cost £39 (£19.50 each) this will include two pistols, two lanes, tuition (if required), unlimited ammo, targets and Co² capsules.

What's included ?

If you rent a gun this will include your gun & lane hire, tuition (if required), unlimited ammo, targets and PCP refills.

If you bring your own gun this will include your lane hire, tuition (if required), targets and PCP refills.

Both options come with lots a free advice and help.

What if I've never shot before ?

Not a problem, all of our staff are fully trained and will spend as much time as required to ensure that you learn how to use the gun properly and start hitting the targets!

What guns do you use ?

We use pre-charged, single shot BSA Scorpions with telescopic sights or semi automatic, Co² powered pistols which fire 4.5 mm steel BB’s.

Do I need to pre-book ?

To guarantee your desired slot we recommend that you pre-book online, especially for peak times such as Saturdays and during the school holidays. Please arrive 15 minutes before your session begins to allow a short safety briefing and prevent a delay.

Where can I park ?

We have lots of free parking right outside our door.

Can I recharge my pcp rifle/pistol ?

Yes we supply free pcp topups when using the range.

Do you have any refreshments ?

We don’t provide/sell drinks or snacks however you are welcome to bring your own. There is a cafe within walking distance and lots of very good restaurants and cafes on the high street, which are a few minutes drive away.

If you’ve never been to Berkhamsted before I would recommended that you take some extra time to visit our lovely market town. The castle is steeped in history, it’s where William the Conqueror received the submission of the English after the Battle of Hastings.
