We have three fantastic gun ranges with over 100 targets to shoot at. A twenty meter air rifle range & semi automatic BB pistol range plus the Simway Hunt Simulator. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 112 can shoot with one of our hire guns or you can bring your own. Prices start at £10 per hour.

What's the age limit:

Anybody under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult 21 or over We recommend that 12 years old is the minimum age, this is due to the physical size and strength of the child and their ability to hold a gun. This is only a recommendation and children of a younger age are welcome to try.

What does it cost:

If you bring your own gun and ammo it will cost £10 per hour this includes unlimited card targets and air fills. If you’d like to share a lane with a friend it will be £16 thats £8 each.

If you’d like to hire a gun, prices start at £24 per person per hour this will include your gun hire and lane, tuition if required, unlimited ammo, targets and air fills.

If you’d like to share a rifle or pistol and lane with a friend it will cost £29 that’s £14.50 each per person per hour this will include your own gun and lane, tuition if required, unlimited ammo , targets and air fills.

If you’d like to book our pistol dueling package with a friend it will cost £39 thats £19.50 each per hour this will include two pistols, two lanes, tuition if required, unlimited ammo, targets and air fills.

What's included:

If you rent a gun it will include, tuition if required, unlimited ammo , targets and air fills.

If you bring your own gun it will include paper targets and air fills.

Both options come with lots a free advice and help.

I have never shot before:

Not a problem all of our staff are full trained and will spend as much time as required to ensure that you learn how to use the gun properly and hit all the targets.

What guns do you use:

We use a selection of pre charged single and multi shot Air Arms 200/400/410/510 to choose from all with telescopic sights plus a seletion of C02 powered, Semi Automatic pistols which fire 4.5 mm steel BB’s

Do I need to pre book:

To guarantee you desired time we do recommend that you pre book online especially on peak times Saturdays and school holidays. Please arrive 15 minutes before your time slot.

Most normal weekdays we should be able to get you on the range if you have not pre booked.

Were can I park:

We have lots of free parking right outside our front door.

Can I refill my gun:

Yes we supply free pcp gun top ups.

Do you have any refreshments:

We don’t sell drinks or snacks , you are welcome to bring your own .

Do you do parties & corporate Days?

We can cater for larger groups for a family party or maybe a team building or corporat event. Please call us on 01626 242971 and we will be happy to discuss all the option for an event that you to remember for a long time.

Do you offer combo shooting packages?

Your one hour session can be split into two halves and you can a choose any two of the three ranges to shoot on, this package includes the use of our air rifles, pistols, targets and pellets.
There is also the two hour combo session where you get to spend your time between all of the 3 ranges and this is only £30 per person.

Gun Range Terms, Conditions & Rules

It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that each person in there group is aware of the terms, conditions & rules.

You are not prohibited under Section 21 of the fire arms act to use or possess a firearm or ammunition. If you have been to prison/youth custody or young offenders institution you could be prohibited.

Only 2 people allowed per lane at any time.

You must be 18 years or over to use the range unaccompanied.

Under the age of 18 you must be supervised by an adult over the age of 21 years.

Adult, Child Ratio is strictly – 1 Adult (21 or over )to 1 child/young person (under the age of 18)


SAFETY is the responsibility of all participants.

Safety shooting glasses must be worn at all times on the range.

Only 1 gun allowed per lane at any time.

Always assume that all guns are loaded & dangerous.

Never point a gun at another person.

Never leaving a gun unsupervised.

When on the range guns must be kept in a case, slip or bag at all times until on the shooting line.

In the event of a gun being taken off the range it is the users responsibility to ensure that the gun is not loaded and that the magazine is removed or the barrel is broken

Never enter the range target/firing area, always ask a member of staff for assistance.

Never shoot at anything other then targets for example props, lights, walls, ceiling,beams,general fixtures & fittings.

Any behaviour that would be deemed as disruptive and/or offensive, which adversely affects or offends other range users, either directly or indirectly will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the premises .

Anyone under the influence of controlled substances drugs, alcohol will be asked to leave premises.


Children and young people are actively encouraged to participate, however it is the responsibility of a Parent or Guardian (over 21 years of age) to control the safety & behaviour of the child or young person in their care at all times.


This is the person who is directly in control of the Range and all participants, this includes all those waiting to shoot or merely viewing, in the immediate area. The Range Officers decision is final.

Using Your Own Gun

Own guns must be in sound working order.

Rifles exceeding 12ftlb, Pistols exceeding 6 ft lb muzzle energy are Not Allowed.

Under the fire arms act it is the responsibility of the gun owner to insure that their air rifle is within the legal 12ftlb limit and air pistols are within 6ftlb limit. We reserve the right at any time to chrono test any gun, if it is found to be over the legal limit it will be retained by Ronnie Sunshines ltd until the correct licence can be produce, if a licence can not be produced we will inform the Police.


By booking to use the Shooting Range you are deemed fully and absolutely to indemnify Ronnie Sunshines Ltd and it’s servants against any claims for injury or loss however caused to or by yourself, at the Shooting Range.

The list above is not exhaustive; any behaviour as stated above will result in the person or persons being asked to leave the range.
