Grohmann Knives Ltd was formed in 1961 and their knives are still handmade, the traditional way in Nova Scotia, Eastern Canada by talented craftspeople.
The Grohmann slimline, one blade, folder is a very comfortable, lightweight pocket knife. It's a stunning knife, beautifully finished with water buffalo horn scales and nickel silver bolsters. Sturdy brass liners and pins with a stainless steel spring also mean this knife is built to last a lifetime. It was used by Ray Mears in "Northern Wilderness" the BBC TV series and he spoke very highly of it.

Handle: Water Buffalo Horn; with a high lustre finish and colour variations from jet black to black with streaks of pearl grey and white, it's naturally water-resistant and extremely durable. Responsibly sourced from India.
Blade Steel: German, high carbon, stainless 4110 with a 56-58 degree Rockwell hardness.
Grind: Full Flat, which sacrifices edge durability in favour of sharpness. It's easy to maintain, which is good as it will require regular sharpening but can be brought up to razor sharpness.
