Casstrom have made their name as importers of quality knives from Northern Europe and are experts in the knife world. This knife bears their name and calls upon all their experience. It's designed and built as a multi-purpose knife for hunting, bushcraft and general use in the great outdoors.

The blade is 10cm long and made from 3.5mm thick Swedish 14C28N stainless steel and heat treated to achieve a hardness of 58-59 HRC.

These full tang knives are ground with a shaving sharp full flat grind and have a satin finish.

This steel and grind combination makes these knives very strong, yet very easy to sharpen and it will take and hold a great edge.

This handle is made in orange G10 - a very tough material that is resistant to moisture, cracks and hard impact. The bright colour makes it easier to find a knife lost in the woods. Black liners are also fitted between the handle scales and steel to enhance durability.

The knife comes with a sturdy welted sheath made from cognac brown 3mm vegetable tanned full-grain leather. The sheath features an extra wide belt loop, a fluid draining hole and a lanyard hole.

Steel analysis
Sandvik's most recently developed product in its popular series of knife steel. The optimized composition creates a steel with a unique combination of excellent edge holding, high hardness and high corrosion resistance. This new steel has the ability to be heat treated so that the wear resistance is improved without affecting the microstructure, therefore to sharpen the knife is relatively easy, while edge stability in terms of chipping and edge rolling is still very good.
