Description
The BSA Scorpion carbine is built on the same excellent action as the other PCP air rifles in the BSA range. The advantage it has over an it's smaller brother is it's increased shot count per fill, which is nearly doubled in .22 calibre to 100 shots per fill and 65 in .177.
This increased air capacity of the Scorpion produces a longer 'sweet spot' and makes the more consistent. The Scorpion's barrel is 85mm long and the rifle weighs in at a manageable 3.1 kg helping to retain a good balance so it comes up to the shoulder, perfectly, every time.
The SE action delivers top end performance by utilizing a lightweight 'Fast Strike Hammer' and a self regulating valve system. It's ultra consistent and also very air efficient with a nice flat power curve.
There is a whole heap of Heritage in every BSA, who have been producing high quality air rifles in their Birmingham factory since 1905. They are the only volume manufacturer of air rifles to produce and use Cold Hammer Forged Barrels, which are usually reserved for use in high grade and military firearms. This Scorpion variant has an, ambidextrous, 'soft touch' Realtree camo stock.
